Who's caring for the caring?

So....amongst all the difficult aspects of the current global situation I can't help but wonder: who is caring for people doing the caring?

More specifically, the clinicians who show up to sessions and dutifully leave "their issues" at the door - even in the midst of a fierce global pandemic? We clinicians are trained to contain and hold space for patients while at the same doing our own containment but we all know if we aren't doing our own connecting we leave ourselves susceptible to the big "B" (more on that in another blog!)

Well...my wonderment gave rise to this project - providing consultation and supervision support to clinicians in an open and judgement free environment and in a way that is available to you amidst your practice. Whether we are talking about EMDR or Social Work Clinical Counselling...let's get talking!

Now, more than ever, we need each other - and we need to break down the isolation of our practice. Beyond "what training did you do last" to "here's what's going on". An authentic and real conversation about what our needs are because NOW more than ever, the caring need care and connection too!
